← Back to Why Won’t You Sleep
0.2.0 (May 11, 2026)
- First public beta. Reads
pmset -g assertionsandpmset -gand translates the output into a Summary tab (per sleep kind, with per-process explanations and a “what to do” sentence) plus a color-coded Details tab. - Recognizes the common Apple system daemons (coreaudiod, backupd, smbd, WindowServer, powerd, softwareupdated, bluetoothd, hidd, locationd, RunningBoard, screensharingd, &c.) plus mainstream third-party apps (Spotify, Music, VLC, IINA, QuickTime, Zoom, Discord, FaceTime, OBS, Channels DVR).
- Resolves
Created for PID:attributions so broker daemons like coreaudiod surface the actual culprit — e.g. a Rogue Amoeba ARK session shows up as ARK, not as coreaudiod. - “Where to look next” jumps directly to relevant System Settings panes (Lock Screen, Battery, Bluetooth, Sharing) and opens Activity Monitor with the suspect PID copied to your clipboard.
- In-app updates via Sparkle. Future versions arrive automatically.
